How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
16-20" tall x 15" wide. This new, super cold hardy beardtongue is a real breakthrough, offering gardeners the huge flowers previously seen only with tender Zone 7 or 8 English-style hybrids. Blooming in mid-summer on compact plants, 'Rubycunda's large white-throated, bright red flowers are the favorite of hummingbirds and bumblebees. This is a great beardtongue for more civilized garden conditions. Compost enriched garden loam.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.

"While the flowers aren't quite as big as the HCG pics yet Im sure they will get there and even though smaller the hummingbirds already love them. They also are a very brilliant red that stands out in the garden. I have 3 of these amidst a bunch of other flowers and grasses and they really pop!"
