As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. "Fantastic plant dense enough to crowd out weeds. Better than thyme with interesting bracts. Tough, drought tolerant, taking hot sun. Excellent growing over a rock wall although a little slow growing. Evergreen looks good year round."
"I tossed two of these between my sidewalk and my garden and then forgot about them all summer (planted in May, now it's mid-September). It's a western facing site with heavy silt soil that bakes in the evening sun. They are walked on, peed on, and this winter, they'll likely get some salty road water, too. I live in the black hills in south dakota HZ4b-5a, and we had a low-water year. I don't water the area. The other day I walked past them, and they are happily creeping along, covering rocks and shimmering with this pretty olive color. Without a bloom, these lil guys are really understated in a charming way. Sometimes it's nice to have something a little less garish in the garden. We'll see how they handle the winter snow and water, but so far so good. I recommend removing all the mulch around them, as the two that were planted on bare earth spread much faster than the third placed in a raised bed surrounded by mulch."
"This little plant is great! It beats the socks off of the Arenaria (which died immediately). It continues to thrive between flagstones and gets better and spreads nicely. I like it!"
"This is a dainty ground cover that has not spread as much as the Creeping Thyme in my garden. It adds a soft green bed and is blooming a very soft yellow right now (Spring)"
