How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
32-36" tall x 24" wide (seed propagated). This is a beautiful white-flowered variety. 'Royal Wedding' makes a stunning companion when planted with Salvia 'Blue Hill' or 'May Night'. These poppies go dormant in summer, so mix them into perennial beds with other tall growing perennials to cover up the browning foliage.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (801) 769-0300 or contact us by email or chat.

"This had almost rotted completely when I got it. Took me 2 days to be able to plant it, and by then it looked too far gone to even plant."
"The plants arrived kind of soggy and wilted. I planted them anyway, knowing they are ephemerals, so now they've disappeared. Fingers crossed they wake up."
"The rabbits ate up before blooming."
"I love these poppies! They have gotten huge and have large beautiful flowers. Gorgeous in the garden. They do go dormant in the summer and will die back but come back in the fall and really take off in spring with huge beautiful flowers. #sweepstakes"
"I ordered a lot of plants this year, particularly interested in oriental poppies. My plants from High Country were in pots with unique packaging which kept them in perfect condition through the mail and the plants were in perfect condition. I ordered poppies from 3 other companies as well and their roots came in plastic bags, some were OK and some dried out in bad shape. High Country is the best in all areas, I would highly recommend them and are my first choice when ordering."
"Planted this a year ago. After a long, snowy winter, it has taken off and is now producing large, beautiful blooms."
"I have these Asa border for one if my beds. While they are not as prolific or as long blooming as some others, they are reliable in my climate (Pacific NW)."
"I did not get a bloom from this poppy. I don't know why? Of all the plants I bought the poppy's were the most delicate. I love them and perhaps they would grow better somewhere more kind in climate."
