'Spring Carpet' Mount Atlas Daisy (Anacyclus depressus) is a wonderful early-spring-blooming groundcover. Blooming with cheerful white daisies, its petals feature striking red undersides, adding a bit of contrast and detail to the perennial garden. Fern-like grey-green foliage creates an attractive mat. Well-suited to alpine and rock gardens, the plants thrive in dry, sunny, poor soil locations, especially along gravel paths.

Lovely early spring

"Early spring surprise. Started out blooming in a circular shape. Received lots of positive comments."

Growing very well

"Oh my goodness. I planted this a few years ago and it is going bananas! It has grown very well from the start. It has spread and spread. It has gotten to be a thick carpet. It has spread across my driveway (going under?), all across the original part of my yard, needs little water, the honeybees like it. It does get brown after blooming so when it is done this year I'll be cutting it back. It comes on strong every spring early, and is profusely blooming now."

So far so good

"Planted this in the early spring, it so far has withstood hail, snow and heat. Looking forward to it leaping in the years to come! #sweepstakes"

Persistent little gem of a plant

"I am slowly reclaiming garden space from the invasive weeds that were left to go rampant from years of neglect, and am always on the lookout for plants that are just as persistent as the weeds. This one is. It does reseed freely, requires virtually zero maintenance in Colorado Springs, is evergreen, the flowers are pretty, and it doesn't seem to care that my soil is ""meh"" at best."
