How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (801) 769-0300 or contact us by email or chat.

"I really love these plants, but I've had a hard time keeping them alive. (Zone 6b) I purchased 3 of these last year, but only one survived the winter. I planted one several years ago that did not survive the winter either. I thought I'd try them again in a different part of the yard, but still didn't have good results. Hopefully this last survivor will stick around for awhile!"
"I bought the Blackfoot Daisy last season hoping it would do well in the hot desert sun. I'm pleased with its growth and blossoms. If you look closely, you can see I put two plants close together. I love of cascading off the rocks. Very pleased and will be adding more to my garden."
"I planted these last season and they are thriving in the desert. They bloom from spring to fall and add the perfect vibe to the yard. I'll be back for more… and my neighbors will be too."
"Love These flowers. A landscaper had planted these about fifteen years ago and they kept coming back year after year for about 5 years. Unfortunately another landscaper had thought they were weeds and pulled them all out. I have been looking for these and so glad High Country Gardens has them. They are dainty little flowers and I love everything about them - the petite size of the flower, hardiness and the fact that these flowers can survive in our hot Arizona Desert!"
"I love Black Foot Daisy. My soil is heavy clay and this flower is not intimidated by that at all. Low water needs. I have at least one of these in each garden area."
"Added plants among large boulders and rock washes with other native desert wildflowers."
"This little plant is doing very well in my native plants garden and is rabbit resistant."
"Planted in fall so it never flowered. Was late (Mid-May) to produce foliage, but is now many small attractive flowers."
"When I bought my house, there were a few of these plants growing on an unirrigated gravel-mulched slope in full sun. Over the past year, they have grown in size and multiplied by self seeding. They bloom constantly from spring until frost with absolutely no care or supplemental water. The flowers are showy and visible from a distance."
"I knew nothing about this plant when I ordered it, but I ordered one to try. I received a very healthy, almost ready to bloom plant that took off as soon as it was in the ground (late May). It bloomed constantly with multiple blooms until the monsoon rains began in late June. We had big time monsoon rains this year, and after 10 days or so of daily rain, it just died. I think it drowned, even though it was in very well-drained soil. I am anxious to try it again, because it was just so eager and cheerful! And now I know to avoid too much water, and I will shelter new plants when necessary."
