Heliopsis helianthoides 'Sunstruck' (Oxeye Sunflower) is a powerhouse of flowers. Plants form a compact mound of interesting white and green variegated foliage that is stunning all on its own. One of the earliest-blooming Heliopsis, large golden daisy-like flowers bloom all summer, attracting pollinators, providing lovely cut flowers too. Later in the season, birds enjoy the seeds. This resilient native cultivar is a versatile addition to a flower bed, patio edge, or container garden.
Heliopsis helianthoides 'Sunstruck' (Oxeye Sunflower) provides abundant flowers for arrangements, and for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Blooming all through the summer and into fall, it is one of the earliest flowering Heliopsis species, providing a long season of beautiful color. Perfect for small spaces and mesmerizing planted in masses, it’s a garden workhorse. Requiring full sun and average soil, it is drought tolerant once established. Native to eastern and central North America and south to Texas, Heliopsis is a versatile and resilient herbaceous perennial.

Not happy
"I have purchased before from HCG. These plants (2) plants were/are disappointing . One of the plants looks terrible, actually both do only one more so than the other. Both plants have dry or burned leaves and were received in this condition. They do not heathy, certainly not robust. I doubt they will make through the winter but I hope they will."
