5-6" tall x 14-16" wide. Big yellow flowers and attractive silver foliage on a compact plant make Oenothera macrocarpa 'Dwarf Silver' a welcome addition to even the smallest garden bed. Maturing to half the size of the typical Evening Primrose, this new introduction is a tough, long blooming, waterwise perennial that will provide years of garden beauty. Although it was discovered as a seedling many years ago, its availability to our customers didn't happen until this spring. A High Country Gardens exclusive introduction
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. "bought 3 plants but only one survived. it did well"
"We planted several along the top of a rock wall that had been back filled with pea gravel. To my surprise these took off and flowered all summer that first year. This will be their second summer and they are all happy and filling out beautifully! Again. . . . these were planted in straight pea gravel!"
