Avoid for early orders as plant is slow to emerge

"Do not order early for delivery. This is a slow emerging perennial. Our original order included 5 Baby Joe's and was delivered just after our frost date, around Mother's Day. The pot came looking like you bought dirt. None emerged. HCG easily replaced them with a fall shipment and they are in the ground looking very happy."

Not exactly a Baby!

"I was expecting a smaller plant based on the name ""Baby Joe Pye Weed"" Mine grew to almost 5 feet tall and 28 inches wide. However it's a great plant for flowers and bees. I will buy another one and locate it in a larger space."

Doing well. Will re-order in spring.

"Great packaging. Arrived well to plant."

Plant is healthy but not blooming

"Planted in the flower bed. Appears to be ok but has not bloomed."

Kind of a mystery but doing well overall

"This plant is interesting, I've never grown one before or seen on in this area (zone 5, dry and hot) but if it lives it will fit in nicely in my pollinator garden. I don't know if I should leave it alone or dead head it to encourage root growth. For now I'm just watering it and enjoying the texture it adds to the space it's in."
