'Magnus' is a distinctive, vigorous and large growing cone flower cultivar. The bright reddish-pink petals of its huge flowers are held flat as they radiate out from the cone, instead of curving backwards as is typical of most coneflowers.

Reviews

"Beautiful plants, carefully packaged and shipped. Excellent planting directions. Never been disappointed in the quality of High Country gardens! Been a customer for 20 years!"

Todd (5/5)

5 Feet Tall

"I have these along a hot fence line in zone 6. Full sun all day. They do great. Deadhead after the first bloom, and you get a lot more at the second bloom."

These are coming along nicely

"These made it through the winter and are beautiful"

Happy G. (5/5)

I'm in love with this plant!

"I've planted in a pot and in the ground. The potted one is looking fantastic. Grounds ones are okay, but not as gorgeous as the potted one."

Wendy (5/5)

50% success

"I bought two plants, they are in the garden side-by-side, one is in full, beautiful bloom and the other is only a few inches high and looking terminal. Gardening is a gamble! I've had these in past years and they are generally very hardy and bloom for a long time, so they're a great addition to the garden."

Jaybee (4/5)

Happy now

"First received a flimsy, lifeless plant. I requested a replacement and received a more responsive plant. After tender loving care and constant vigilance, this second plant is growing slowly. 🤞"

Fingers C. (3/5)

Again only 1 grew

"I love these coneflowers but 1 out of 3 grew"

Beautiful

"I plant this coneflower to attract to butterflies. Beautiful color and healthy. Excellent customer service."

Alison B. (5/5)

I would buy this again

"Well , I have several gardens and echinacea is one of my favorite perennials. I bought this Magnus because my dogs name is the same and true to it's name , my garden is looking awesome . What a beautiful flower . . . so healthy and I know I'll be buying at least one more"

Cat (5/5)

Hardy plants with great blooms

"Healthy plants bloomed the first summer (planted previous fall). Flowers look great in mixed border with other ""August Afternoon"" pre-planned garden."
