Stella D’Oro Reblooming Daylily (Hemerocallis Stella D’Oro) is an easy-care, long flowering garden star that showers the garden in fragrant flowers all summer long. The golden-yellow blossoms stand at 10-12" tall with arching grass like leaves, making them perfect along a path or planted in groups. Stella D’Oro is America’s favorite daylily, make it yours too!
Stella D’Oro Reblooming Daylily (Hemerocallis Stella D’Oro) brightens up the summer days with ruffle-edged, bell-shaped golden flowers that bloom from May to August. At 10-12" tall they are a perfect addition to a perennial bed, or along a path or border. Their easy-care nature makes them ideal for out-of-the way locations like slopes or areas you don’t want to mow. Flowers appear on scapes (leafless stems) and last just one day, hence the name daylily. Snap or cut off spent blooms at the scape to promote reblooming. Deadheading is the key to abundant blooms as it keeps the daylily from putting energy into seed production. Once all the blooms on a scape are finished, you may cut back the scape to keep your plant looking tidy. Plant your daylily roots in average well-drained soil in a sun to part sun location. Pollinator favorites, hummingbirds and butterflies are frequent visitors. Rabbits stay away. 10-12” tall x 10-12" wide.

Glad to have it in my yard
"I've had Stella d'oro for years, and it's still going strong. The Santa Fe area is a very challenging place to garden, so any plant that survives is valuable. This daylily blooms sporatically from early summer until autumn. I do try to deadhead. It's small, and I have it between the garage wall and the sidewalk to the front door. I think it would get lost in a busy garden bed."

I would buy this product again in----
"LOL--Our Landscaper dug drainage holes out where these were planted, and we never got any to come up!! That is not high country gardens fault! But I do think we should have planted them in some shade since we actually are living in a desert environment."

Vigorous bloomer - foliage covers fading daffodils and iris
"There is very little maintenance involved with these Stella d'oro daylilies. They are super healthy and the foliage fills in large gaps in the garden after the daffodils and irises fade. Blooms all summer from May to October."
— Anonymous (5/5)
Will buy again
"Love the steady growth and disease resistance qualities of this day lily. The splash of yellow brightens the gardens and adds texture. Love High Country Gardens quality of seeds and young plants that are neonicotide free."
— Stacy (5/5)
Garden cheer
"This is a first for me, I've never grown daylilys or bare root plants before. I was concerned when I received these last fall, they didn't look like much, but followed instructions and have been rewarded with three lovely plants. The foliage is very pretty and the blooms are so cheery. I'm back to order more."
