"My Cotula arrived in perfect condition and are thriving in my garden. I will definitely be ordering again from High Country Gardens."
"Timely shipment for my zone and pants were happy and healthy"
"Have been admiring this in a local botanical garden for years. This is the only place I've seen it for sale. It was a small healthy start packaged very well and withstood late snows soon after planting. Excited to see how it does in our hot summers."
"I liked the on line experience, and the shipping process and packaging were well done. Maybe my climate isnt right for these, but I'm in one of the specified zones (8a). Anyway, they did not thrive here on Hilton Head Island. Live and learn."
"I use it as a ground cover in front landscaping area."
"I had these in my garden years ago, then a housesitter forgot to water in heat of summer! Trying again. They are slow to take -- I've lost a few but those that are still alive are beginning to take off. We'll see if they get to the carpet stage that they were in my first garden. I'm still hopeful."
"These plants provide a great blanket of color in early summer and will keep blooming (though more sparsely) through the summer with deadheading. They are fast and easy growers that require little water. The only downside is that the foliage itself isn't that dense, so weeds easily grow in the exposed pockets of dirt—and by the time you see the weeds growing, removing them means that you will likely pluck some of the gold button plant as well. I also have a problem of squirrels burying nuts in the plants— which again causes root disruption and dead patches."
"I ordered just 1 quart to try out in my space. It already covers a square foot after 2 months and is now blooming darling yellow button like flowers. It goes really well with the blue salvia I planted behind it. So happy with the purchase and I don't even need very much more to keep it spreading. I am also really happy with the accuracy of HCG shipping. I didn't get any plants delivered wrong, colors are accurate to the website, plants arrive in great shape - this is not my experience with many other online stores. So happy to do business here."
"I planted these as a ground cover. I had to give up on my rose bed as the deer wouldn't let them alone. Because I am older and can foresee more difficulty in my gardening maintenance I opted to put these in as a ground cover. The first year was difficult as the plants arrived so intertwined, making it difficult to separate each individual pot in order to transplant and a few had to be replaced which was no problem. Most wintered over beautifully. I ordered more this Spring to finish out the bed and I was immensely pleased to see the care with which they were packaged. Each plant arrived in it's own separate space and was a breeze to transplant. I'm still baby-ing them along in this drought-stricken area to get them established but they are eventually going to have to be hardy in order to survive. I love the blooming gold buttons, the foliage is stunning and they are spreading beautifully so far."
"Grows well in heat and humidity. And rocky clay soil, and course sand."
