a good start

"I put this in a dry spot in the front of the house, and it is doing well as expected. It started growing early this spring, and I liked the early greenery. This is a beautiful plant, I see it at the Denver Botanic garden looking fantastic and I am happy I have one of my own."

Fantastic!

"Love these fern bushes! I bought three in the fall of 2023. Yes, they are small when the arrived (maybe 3"" tall). Survived being buried under 2' of snow and grew like crazy. I did put a cage around them to protect them from deer. They must have grown almost 2' in one year. They are just starting to flower."

Excellent for Bonsai accent.

"I purchased this as an experiment for Bonsai and as an accent plant for bonsai display. The plant arrived as a clump, which I separated into individual and smaller clumps. I lost one individual plant, but the four others survived just fine. Many asked about these very awesome appearing plants. Definnatly a hit at the Bonsai club meeting. I love the fragrance which reminds me of the forest. Very sturdy for deviding and replanting."

Great Looking Plant and Easy Care

"This plant is growing in a smaller area of my side yard. Very sizable already, in first season. Look forward to flowering, next season."

Fernbush success!

"This plant was very tiny when we got it last fall but it thrived this summer. I bought 3 others from a different nursery (much bigger) and planted them this spring and they all died. I'm very happy with the one from High Country Gardens and would buy from them again."

Easy to grow

"I am a first time garden owner and decided on the fern bush since it does not need a lot of water and it's is a perfect fit for our climate and soil. Instructions were super easy to follow. The yum yum mix made a big change this spring. 5 out of 6 are growing perfect! I asked for help on the 6th one and received amazing consumer service! Very happy with my purchase"

Kat (5/5)

Huge growth in year 2

"We are on summer number 2 and the fernbushes got HUGE! I was so suprised, since they come so small. very hardy in our Denver front yard and area between the sidewalk and road."

Thriving

"I planted this in a mixed berm. Looks great"

Mec (5/5)

Questionable

"Out of all the plants I purchased this past March the Fernbush are barely alive. They have not grown at all and have become dried out and woody."

Kathy (3/5)

Still Alive

"Bought this a couple of years ago, four. Only one died, others growing, slowly, in partial sun. No flowers at all. But I did purchase more this year, mostly have died. These do not take full sun. And, still no flowers."
