This jumbo snow-in-summer has large stems and leaves and was discovered growing in a Santa Fe, NM. Its larger size and vigor make it an excellent lawn substitute, producing a carpet of white blooms in late spring. Drought resistant/drought tolerant plant (xeric). 4-5" x 15-18" wide.

Stunning plant and flowers

"Planted 6 of these just under a year ago and already incredible results! Plants have spread 8 - 12 inches and covered in blooms for about a month or so. Foliage is beautiful and contrasts well with the mulch and surrounding plants. Loving these and can’t wait to see how well they do in their second year!"

Great Groundcover

"This is a great ground covering plant, forming dense, but tidy matts of gray-green foliage. I planted a dozen of these last Spring and they grew and spread over the Summer and now blanket an area of about 5 square feet. Flowers are just starting to bloom now, a year later."

WOW! Fast and never dies

"Fast growing, Easy to move, and STUNNING. Although this plant only blooms for a short time the constant greenery is beautiful all year long."

Wonderful, vigorous plant

"I love this plant as a groundcover and use it in my own yard and in clients' yards. I was introduced to snow-in-summer when we moved to Boulder 25 years ago. There was a large patch of it around a gorgeous red peony in the fixer-upper house we bought, and both plants bloomed at the same time and looked great together. I often plant snow-in-summer, peonies, and bearded irises together."
