Healthy plants, shipped well. Vigorous

"Healthy plants, shipped well. Vigorous growers once planted. Thanks!"

Definitely buy again.

"I planted 1 each in a 5 gallon pot with a 'Bishop's Form' Heronsbill. Growing great by our mailbox this until squirrels/chipmunks ate the NYAster plants down to the roots!!! Moved them closer to the front door & they're doing great."

Beautiful and hardy

"I love this plant. It is so hardy. I bought 2 a year ago and planted in different areas. One was almost dead and as a last ditch effort to save it I moved it by the other plant early this Summer. They are both thriving and I have beautiful purple blooms."

Great plants and great packaging!

"Fall is my favorite season so I have a love affair with asters! I'm planting these with Solidago Fireworks in the background. This was my second order and I have a third order coming in September. Every plant I have ordered has been healthy and carefully packaged. Thank you for such a beautiful selection of native plants."

50/50

"I planted two of these three feet apart. One died and the other one is thriving. Same sun, soil, water conditions. It's baffling. This doesn't appear to be easy to grow."

Native full of small purple flowers

"I planted this in October 2019 and it is about 2 feet wide and tall less than a year later. It bloomed for me back in Late July 2020 (just when I adjusted to more water on my irrigation and then She started thriving, maybe a coincidence as it is supposed to bloom in late summer anyways). Butterflies and bees LOVE them!!! Mine is planted on the west side of my house but in the east side of a wall (only receive half a day sun, part from the morning and part from the afternoon) but she thrives there with more water than my other drought tolerant beauties'. I wasn't sure this was gonna work as it is recommended for full sun, but in ABQ seems to be enough with half day of sun. I have gravel (xeriscape all around) the heat isn't a problem. Most flowers per plant than anything else I have in the garden. I love how full of flowers this got after I adjusted for a little more water and the purple rich deep color from all the regular aster I've seen."

Star of the Bee Garden

"This Aster is the star of my new bee garden! Blooms prolifically in the late summer and fall to provide nectar to my honey bees. Large and hardy blooms until the first frost!"

Lots of compliments!

"Aster is a wonderful late bloomer. It grows in fair to poor soil here. It gets all day sun and usually does well on just normal rainfall. It grows tall and green at the rear of my garden all summer and is loaded with beautiful flowers starting in late August. It is extremely attractive and I will bet you will get tons of compliments. I live in western PA, zone 5. Aster is the birth flower for September."
