10-14" tall x 10-12" wide. Achillea New Vintage⢠Violet (New Vintage⢠Violet Yarrow) is a long blooming selection with unusual, eye-catching plum-violet flowers that hold their color. A small plant at maturity, this perennial is useful for planting around taller perennials and in pots as a companion plant for annuals. The nectar-rich flowers are excellent for attracting butterflies that like to land on the flat-topped umbels (flowers). Easy-to-grow and very cold hardy, this plant is outstanding for northern gardens. Unlike common varieties of fern-leaf Achillea, New Vintage⢠Violet does not reseed itself.

"I received a very healthy plant and though I won't see flowers until next season. I am confident it will be beautiful, as it has grown already. I'm sure it has set some nice roots, and this was in late summer early fall planting. I am a zone five in my elevation is approximately 5500 feet. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you cannot go wrong with High Country Gardens plants!"
"Looks very happy, but it isn't blooming yet. Very excited, though. It has doubled in size from mid March to mid June."
"I had quit growing yarrow due to the problem of self-seeding. This plant has made me a fan. Very well-rooted plants arrived this spring (zone 5) and they are thriving! I love the color as flowers open and then 'soften' over time. Gorgeous!"
"I planted this beautiful and unique yarrow in my pollinator garden. I have very few flowers that are this color and I look forward to the blooms. I placed it in front of some purple and yellow iris and it should bloom after the iris are done and fill this spot with color again. I know the bees will visit and I am really looking forward to seeing the pollinators enjoy these flowers as much as I know I will. Thank you for providing such versatile and unique garden plants!"
"It's in a pot but I will transplant to garden in fall. I have used Yarrow in many gardens and it's a beautiful and unique plant. Spreads wildly! This is by far the best color I've had."
"The color on this plant is amazing and is a great highlight or background color in the garden. This plant is not as Rabbitproof as the moonshine yarrow, and it doesn't spring back as quickly after being gnawed. But it is beautiful. I have it in a hot, sunny, dry area and it's as happy as can be. I have tickseed near it and they love each other. I'm going to plant lavender around it because I think the colors will be amazing together."
"This yarrow is in my border and brings a beautiful purple pink color. Lovely with my white daisies! don't overfeed or they will flop! long lasting and will give a volunteer seedling now and then. The seedlings are true to color!!"
"Both plants are doing well, blossoming, about nine inches tall this year. I will purchase two more next spring."
"With drought, dry heat and little care, my backyard looks great with the plants from High Country."
"I planted this earlier this year upon receipt. It is already two feet tall and blooming prolifically."
