Don’t let this mounded, compact grower fool you: 'Marshmallow' Yarrow tough, excelling in dry to average gardens and growing where salty soils, sandy soils, or those with low fertility hold other plants back. Thanks to slender, deep green leaves and a dense form, these plants are attractive spring through fall and are adorned with generous crops of frilly, pom-pom like flowers for months in summer. The flowers of 'Marshmallow' Yarrow make excellent cut flowers and dry well. A great pick for gardeners in most of the US; those in hotter dryer areas, like the Southwest, should site this plant in sites with average or greater moisture, while those in moister locales, like the Midwest, should site this plant in drier spots.

"The plants deserve a 5. The only reason I chose 4 is that the labels fell out of their pots. I had ordered some things that were new to me so had a heck of a time pairing them all back together, and still came out one label short and 2 plants that I was not sure I had correctly identified. In the end, all was well and the plants are happy and I am too. I will order from you again in the future."
