How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
4" tall x 18" wide (cutting propagated). This low growing "yarrow" is at home in the rock garden or perennial border when used as a ground cover or edging plant. A reliably heavy bloomer, it covers itself with bright clusters of small white flowers for weeks in the late spring. Its' dense gray-green foliage is mat-like and ever (particularly in milder climates), giving the plant season-long interest. Recommended planting companions include Pink Armeria maritima 'Compactum' and Blue Penstemon virens.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (801) 769-0300 or contact us by email or chat.

"I bought 3 Greek yarrow September of 2024. It bloomed lightly last April, and it has gotten bigger even though the sprinkler was not on it."
"This compact yarrow welcomes spring with a profusion of tiny white flowers. Its leaves stay compact and green year round. Great for the front of a border or as a ground cover."
"I reviewed this plant 2 months after planting it 2 years ago, but wanted to update my review with a picture taken in it's third season. Unfortunately I took the picture about a week too late as the blooms were stating to fade, but non-the-less you can see how well it has done. Its an early bloomer so while all the other plants are just stating to wake up and stretch this little yarrow is already in full bloom along with the Splendens Armeria on either side of it offering a very cheery early spring vision out my front window. Ive since planted several more as they make such a nice border."
"I planted 11 of these on a bank and they did well at first, growing nicely and flowering well during that first summer. As fall came, the hungry rabbits and/or deer started browsing on them. They were eaten almost down to the roots. After the first winter only 2 survived and they have never been able to grow more than an inch tall due to continued browsing."
"I love this little yarrow! It has spread nicely in the two months its been in the ground and puts out very sweet white flowers. I have it intermixed with Splendens Armeria and other taller yarrows and am very happy with how its turning out. Im ordering more for fall planting."
"Due to misadventure, my Greek yarrow got trampled and crushed a week after I planted it. I thought it was a goner fore sure. But within. 5 weeks, it had regrrown to the size it was when it arrived, and within another 3 weeks, it had a little flower. If that isn't a testament to a plant's toughness I don't know what is! It has also coped just fine with 103 degree days. It is still pretty small after 4 months, so don't expect it to cover much ground quickly. I look forward to seeing how it fills out."
"Small plant but healthy. Can't wait to see it Next season when they are more established and spread. Plan to order more next season!"
"These went into a rock garden and are very attractive: covered in tiny white blossoms and spreading happily."
"Grows fast, good for high heat and humidity."
"The failure of the Achillea was due to my thinking of the many tough Achilleas we use every day. This tiny plant needs tender loving care, a more humid environment (not Mediterranean) and plenty of water."
