"Only seed pack/mix that I planted, and everything came up! Looking forward to expanding the meadow next spring."

CT (5/5)

Produced a ""meadow"" in the first year, loved by bees

"We prepared the space by laying newspaper heavily and mulching to kill weeds (mostly grass, so it was already flat) in late summer. That fall we scraped a path through the mulch and planted most of the seed bag, since many of the seeds do best with cold stratification. We mixed with sand as per the instructions. Then in spring, we spread the rest to accommodate seeds that do better after frost. We had an amazing germination, better than we expected, to be honest. Maybe Pittsburgh is an especially good environment, as I see another successful planter's review in my area."

Andy (5/5)

Germinated well, even some perennials bloomed first year

"Looking forward to seeing how the perennials in the mix come back next year!"
