"I'm from Croatia and my mom loved these flowers but there they are called ""Ladies of the Night"" a much better name than 4 o'clocks!!!😊 they spread easily and open at 4 o'clock 🤪 but have slight color during the day… very hardy!!!"

"I had no idea what I was buying when I got these seeds on a whim several years ago. Since then, my eastern facing Four O'Clocks have come back year after year. They are technically an annual but they reseed very strongly and act like a perennial. They are so happy, so colorful, and make me smile everytime I walk by them in the evenings. I have them between the house and front pathway in about a 2' wide garden area. I tie them up gently to keep them from falling over, they are so prolific and heavy. They grow to about 5' tall and 4' wide. One of my most favorite random plants in my garden. Zone 5b on a dripline, garden soil mixed with organic compost and mulched."
