Camas coming out my ears!

"Wondering if they are edible like the native ones!!!"

Back for more!

"This is the second summer for these wonderful camas lilies. They make a beautiful addition to my perimeter and small garden beds. The bloom is about as long as a tulip in my area (zone 6), but so pretty to see in the spring before my summer wildflowers put on their own show. I'm getting more."

They grew!

"Tried these overwinter in zone 8a. Mild winter, planted in a swale, heavy clay, no particular soil prep. Planted deep so that they'll survive our brutal summers with less water. They're in a wild/meadow strip with clovers in swales and bunch grasses on berms for weed suppression. They're next to a wood fence with some sun protection. We got tons more rain over winter and spring than is normal here. In spring, the test clump of bulbs came up. They didn't bloom. I give them credit for coming up. Expecting they will bloom in future years."

Still waiting

"Planted last fall according to instructions. Still waiting as it is probably only mid-Spring here (goofy weather this year - hot early, now cool-cold and rainy) for emergence of these beauties. (3 stars only so far as jury is 'out' for now. ) By past experience with other HCG offerings, I am comfortable that these will be 'as advertised' later in Spring. But, as of yet, cannot recommend."
