Pure as Gold Re-Blooming Bearded Iris (Iris germanica Pure as Gold) is a garden must-have. The rich, saturated yellow flowers draw the eye and gently spotlight what’s around it. Plant it where you’d like to draw attention – near ornamental grasses or long-blooming perennials. Their appearance in spring and again in fall will brighten your world. This multiple award-winning Bearded Iris is easy- care and drought tolerant once established. Plant them in well-drained average soil with the tops of the rhizomes exposed, in a sunny location. They will spread out and multiply over the years paying you back in blooms for your effort. Pollinator friendly; deer and rodents avoid them. Top dress with bone meal in the fall and some organic bulb food in the spring and enjoy the show!

"I received a few of these Iris in different colors. They arrived just as I was headed out of town and was not able to plant timely. When I returned and wanted to plant the rysomes they had dried significantly. Some even appeared almost completely dry. The driest ones I put in a bucket of water to soak. I planted several. Eventually I planted them all except for a few that were too dry. All of the planted ones matured and I have a beautiful bed of large different colored iris. I was surprised but pleased at how well they are doing. My neighbors are amazed at how beautiful they are. I think I might have the only iris in the neighborhood."
