"I received a one stem plant and planted it anyway as I wanted it to be included in my nectar bed. I watched over it to make sure it would take off. When it grew to only one foot tall and showed a flower head forming, I was surprised as I've never had a short phlox before. It tried and showed beautiful white flowers and then died. I don't know if I should dig it up or wait to see if it starts again."
"David Phlox is a very hardy grower here in MI, zone 6a. The problem I have with this pretty flower is powdery mildew. Other than that, it's a nice pure white, garden Phlox."

"I had the easiest time getting this plant in the ground, and got such beautiful results with very effort on my part. It was as easy as dig, fill, and water (one real good watering at planting, and then only when the dirt is dry). It's been blooming year after year despite being planted in a not-so-bright area. It's easily become one of the most reliable plants in my garden."
"Came in in a timely manner. Was dry from shipping but packed well. Perked up with water and a couple shady days prior to planting. I ordered three from another company and two died so this is to replace on of those. It hasn't been in the ground long but will keep a close watch until established. Phlox paniculata David is a white-flowering garden phlox, and an improvement over our old favorite, Mt. Fujiyama Phlox. Notable for its June display of enormous, brilliant white flower heads and delicious fragrance, Phlox David also has highly mildew-resistant foliage. Plant in compost-rich soil and water regularly.
