Papaver orientale 'Royal Wedding' (Oriental Poppy) has large, pure white flowers in late spring. 'Royal Wedding' Poppy is a superior seed grown variety that makes a stunning companion to salvia (sage).
32-36" tall x 24" wide (seed propagated). This is a beautiful white-flowered variety. 'Royal Wedding' makes a stunning companion when planted with Salvia 'Blue Hill' or 'May Night'. These poppies go dormant in summer, so mix them into perennial beds with other tall growing perennials to cover up the browning foliage.

As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. "Plants arrived looking soggy and completely dead. The packaging did not secure them in place so they bounced around in the box. If this is indicative of the condition HCG plants arrive in, we won’t be buying more. My husband bought them for me as a surprise."
— Sonia R. (1/5)
Almost dead on arrival
"This had almost rotted completely when I got it. Took me 2 days to be able to plant it, and by then it looked too far gone to even plant."
— Sam (1/5)

"The plants arrived kind of soggy and wilted. I planted them anyway, knowing they are ephemerals, so now they've disappeared. Fingers crossed they wake up."
— Ottan (3/5)
The rabbits ate this up before it bloomed.
"The rabbits ate up before blooming."
— Milo (3/5)
Gorgeous! I would buy again
"I love these poppies! They have gotten huge and have large beautiful flowers. Gorgeous in the garden. They do go dormant in the summer and will die back but come back in the fall and really take off in spring with huge beautiful flowers. #sweepstakes"
— PaperDiva (5/5)
The best plants and packaging I have ever received
"I ordered a lot of plants this year, particularly interested in oriental poppies. My plants from High Country were in pots with unique packaging which kept them in perfect condition through the mail and the plants were in perfect condition. I ordered poppies from 3 other companies as well and their roots came in plastic bags, some were OK and some dried out in bad shape. High Country is the best in all areas, I would highly recommend them and are my first choice when ordering."
— Sophies M. (5/5)
Beautiful blooms
"Planted this a year ago. After a long, snowy winter, it has taken off and is now producing large, beautiful blooms."
— CO80498 (5/5)
BeUTIFUL BLOOMS
"I have these Asa border for one if my beds. While they are not as prolific or as long blooming as some others, they are reliable in my climate (Pacific NW)."
— Nic (5/5)
Too delicate for my desert garden.
"I did not get a bloom from this poppy. I don't know why? Of all the plants I bought the poppy's were the most delicate. I love them and perhaps they would grow better somewhere more kind in climate."
— San108 (3/5)
