Happy with this

"Bought two of these and there thriving cant wait to see them bloom. Came in good condition well packaged"

Great quality

"Was very pleased with the fast timely delivery but even more so with the quality of the plants and the extra free plant included in the package. They have been in the ground for a month and every single plant is thriving! I highly recommend not only these plants but Hugh Country Gardens. We will use them again in the future."

Unsurpassed for harsh, cold climate

"I never thought anything could do as well in my harsh, cold environment as the Poncha Pass Buckwheat- but Kannah Creek does. It seems to grow a bit faster, with yellower (as opposed to chartreuse) flowers. It has a slightly more open habit. Here at 6000 ft. just outside Yellowstone, both thrive, and grow much bigger than advertised. I don't do anything special but clip the spent flowers and answer questions- as people often ask what they are!"

Very nice low growing flowering plant.

"I have it along my drip (all my gardens have drip) whivh helped it establish. Now it large its getting relatively less water and looks great still."

Nice little plant

"Nice little plant, looks healthy, slowly growing, too early to say"

Fantastic pollinator favorite and good cut flower

"Used this as a front showy piece. Phosphorescent yellow on steroids this spring. Honeybee prolific. Prolific enough to cut substantial blooms and then accent with a contrasting flower like pincushions or batchelor buttons"

Easy care and absolutely beautiful

"Am very proud to have 2 of these beautiful, easy care plants."

Good start for the first year

"Bought this plant to put between 2 cactus that I planted 2 years ago. Grew well this summer with a little TLC water every now and then. The foilage was attractive in the fall. Grew to a plant about 12 inches across. Curious to see how much growth the second year will bring."

Unexpected favorite

"I bought one of these about five years ago simply because it fulfilled my requirements for an area in the garden - native, cold hardy, low water, low height, long interest. From the pictures, I never expected to love it, but it is hands down one of our favorite plants, and one I always recommend to friends for our area. The foliage makes a kind of undulating mat of green that is tinged with gorgeous burgundy by the cold and provides essential color and interest in the winter. In the warm months, the buckwheat produces a long-lasting blanket of bright yellow flowers that float above the foliage on narrow stems. People never fail to comment on this plant in our garden and it has brought us much joy."
