"I'm hoping these will be thriving by next year."
"Planted in an area that has native grasses and a few cacti. Trying to introduce a variety of hardy wildflowers and shrubs to add color and diversity. This is a high desert, dry, windy, harsh climate. So far, I'm pleased with this buckwheat variety. The flowers are long lasting and pretty. Not showy, but adds color."
"Have had this plant for 3 years & exceeded expectations. When neighbors ask ""What is that?"" you know you're doing something right. It is vigorous so if it is happy give it lots of room- mine grew wider than the 15"" stated and much larger than the local natives. They are in full sun, zone 3-4 rainfall of about 20-25 inches, very gravelly loam. Retains burgundy/bronze leaves through the winter."
"I bought 3, one is doing great and really nice looking, one is slowly coming along, and one died. All planted the same with HC products. The one doing the best and the one that died were in a little sunnier spot and the slower one is just a couple feet away, but goes into shade a little sooner."
"I had hoped this lovely plant would escape the deer but they loved it too. It may come back next year."
