Description

Chasmanthium latifolium 'Little Tickler' (Dwarf Northern Sea Oats) is a clumping, upright dwarf grass. The flower spikes also make nice cut or dried flowers for wreaths and arrangements. Plant it as an accent, along a border, or let it naturalize in woodland gardens. Nice in containers too. Native to North America, Chasmanthium latifolium is found in the eastern US from Pennsylvania to Florida and west to Wisconsin and Texas. Easy to grow, this native cultivar is drought tolerant once established and is salt tolerant for roadside and coastal areas.
