Asclepias tuberosa 'Hello Yellow' (Butterfly Weed) is a member of the milkweed genus and a worthy addition to a pollinator-friendly garden. Golden yellow flower clusters cover the plant adding a lovely dimension to your summer garden. At 18-36" tall, it fits nicely with Echinacea, Lavender, and Penstemon. While they are slow to emerge in the spring, mark their spots to keep their spaces open. Not fussy about soil, plant it in a sunny spot, and once established, it is a drought tolerant, low-maintenance garden stalwart.
