Iris germanica ‘Champagne Elegance’ (Tall Bearded Iris) is cherished by connoisseurs for its gentle blend of apricot and peach hues and its gracefully arched form. A prolific bloomer, ‘Champagne Elegance’ impresses with 7-10 buds per stem and reliably reblooms in late summer.
Plant 'Champagne Elegance’ in a sunny location with good drainage where its enticing fragrance can be fully appreciated. Once established, Bearded Irises are drought-tolerant, deer resistant, and rabbit resistant, and will spread and multiply when happy.
‘Champagne Elegance’ has received both the Honorable Mention in 1989 and the Award of Merit in 1991 from the Royal Horticultural Society.
