This is a long-lasting formula that resists washing off with rain and snow, protecting plants up to 3 months per application. (But be sure to re-apply deer repellent to new foliage as plants grow.) Recent studies by Rutgers University ranked Deer-Off as the most effective of the 35 different repellents tested. Deer-Off discourages animals from feeding on bulbs.
