Description

If you're serious about attracting butterflies, the High Country Butterfly Habitat Wildflower Seed Mix is for you. Every plant in this exclusive blend was chosen specifically for its ability to attract and feed butterflies. You'll enjoy an extended season of colorful flowers, and butterflies will have food and habitat through the entire growing season. Annuals like Five Spot and California Giants Zinnia start blooming early and bloom all summer long. Perennials like Russell Lupine and Purple Coneflower bloom at different times, so there's always something for visiting butterflies to sip! We included two types of Milkweed as host plants for monarch larvae, to nourish successive generations of these winged wonders during their amazing yearly migration. Most of the plants are native wildflowers. Zinnias are native to the flight path of Monarch butterflies! Non-native Shasta Daisies are highly attractive to butterflies. High Country Gardens seed mixes contain 100% seed with no fillers, and all seeds are non-GMO, neonicotinoid-free, and guaranteed to grow. This mix is suitable for the southwest, especially southern California.
