Beautiful Foliage
"This is a difficult plant to grow here in Florida zone 9B. It cannot be in the full sun. I have grown Colocasia and Alocasia for over 15 years, in the ground. Mojito burns in the sun, and seems to not like the filtered shade either. I have several Mojito plants and have tried several growing locations. Our soil is mostly sand. We amend the soil with Black Kow and perlite. All other Alocasia and Colocasia do amazing. I have A. Portora that is 12' high with 6' long leaves. and an A. Lutea that is 8' high and 6' wide. My A. Low Rider is 5' wide and 4' high. Mojito leaves are very thin, it may be best in a pot indoors here in Florida."
