New AZ gardener, new garden doing well

About Me Getting Started
Comments about High Country Gardens Native Wildscape Collection:
We just moved to the White Mountains of AZ from Ohio and are adjusting to high desert gardening under ponderosa pines. We have very little full sun locations, so we put in a raised bed along the road. The garden gets filtered sun maybe 4-6 hours a day. I chose this pre-made garden because it said part sun. Our soil is very sandy, so I added aged horse manure and bark mulch to most of the garden, left a small area with just a little mulch for the plants that do better with poor soil. All settled in well and are going into the winter with pine needle mulch. We will see what this el nino winter brings, but the plants look good now. Best luck we have ever had with mail order plants. Very well packed.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
