Why Plant Rudbeckia?

Rudbeckia (Black-Eyed Susan) are long-blooming, daisy-like flowers that are easy to grow, reliable and tough. Most Rudbeckia have golden yellow or orange petals, with a dark center seed heads and make wonderful cut flowers. Rudbeckia bloom in late summer through fall and can be used in perennial borders, cottage gardens, meadows, and native gardens. Black-eyed Susan are particularly attractive to butterflies and seed-eating songbirds will appreciate their seed heads as a food source in late fall and winter.
