Relatively compact, it grows just 10-18” tall, so it’s especially at home in a massed planting or flower border where it won’t be overwhelmed by taller plants. Pair it with other boldly colored flowers in shades of blue, violet, red — even pink! Impressively adaptable and easy to care for, Siberian Wallflower thrives in most soil types, from sandy to loam to clay. The plant prefers full sun, though it appreciates afternoon shade in hot, dry climates. Enjoy the fragrant blooms in bouquets, but be sure to leave some flowers to mature and form seedpods. The seeds will self-sow to create a naturalized planting that will multiply and spread, heralding spring for you (and the pollinators) year after year.
