Description

(4-6" tall x 12-24" wide) 'Angelina' Creeping Sedum is a low maintenance solution for an easy-to-grow, high-color groundcover. Bright golden-yellow foliage spreads to form dense mats of evergreen foliage. Small star-like yellow flowers appear over the foliage in mid-summer and bloom for more than four weeks. In fall the foliage glows with an amber-orange tint adding another dimension to the garden. A pollinator favorite, it is frequented by beneficial insects and pollinators including bees, birds, and butterflies. ‘Angelina’ is a great choice for rock gardens, retaining walls, alpine plantings, and containers. It will naturalize and spread to cover hospitable ground. Happy in full sun and poor, gravely, sandy soil, it just needs good drainage to thrive. Disease resistant, this hardy perennial Sedum needs no special care once established and is deer and rabbit resistant. Just plant it, water to establish, and enjoy. The succulent foliage stores up water for lean times giving this tough plant great resilience. Hardy in zones 5-9, the succulent foliage is also easy to propagate – just break off a stem and plant it where you want it. It will beautifully fill in crevices in rocks and will fill in spaces between larger plants.
