How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
6-14" tall x 4" wide. With hues of yellows, golds, oranges, and whites, Rock Garden Daffodil Mix brings a bright and playful palette to the mid-spring garden. Each bag of bulbs will feature a varied mix of colors and flower forms. Wildflower daffodils are lightly fragrant, and are perfect additions to a border, rock garden, nook, or open area where they will naturalize, spreading and returning year after year. Plant wildflower daffodils in well-drained soil in a sunny to partial shade location. Let the foliage die back naturally after blooming so that the bulbs can be recharged. Foliage may be removed once the leaves have yellowed. Once established, daffodils are drought-tolerant, deer and rabbit resistant, hardy additions to a perennial garden or container planting.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. "Really beautiful bulbs. I put them near a smoke tree so the color combination is nice. Very hardy too."
"These look so good in my rock garden and I'm impressed by how long they are lasting. I love the variety of colors and shapes and the clusters of adorable tiny blooms bursting from just one bulb. My blue fescue grasses look nice alongside them. I'm just bummed I didn't get any of the spiky yellow ones."
"I am never certain what will grow and where, so I keep on trying. So far, High Country Gardens has surpassed other plants with health, vitality and endurance. What I also really like is that I am buying plants that are healthy food source for pollinators. Since these daffodils stood tall and bloomed so long, I am buying more for other areas of the gardens. Not that I would recommend this to everyone but I stored the daffodils in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator until I could plant them before the ground froze. The few extras that I had left over I planted in February in a container. All of them stood tall and had a three week bloom time. They are so cheery to bring in spring."
"I purchased these bulbs to welcome spring."
