I ordered 3 different varieties.

"I ordered 3 different varieties. Wee one and thumbelina. Wee one seems very distressed and thumbelina has some brown but isn't down. Hidcote is looking excellent. Will be potting them after tomorrow. Will let you know"

Great lavender

"The house I moved to had several old woody ornamental lavender on its last legs that died in a prolonged ice storm. I bought these to replace them because they had good reviews and they really took off with minimal care and supplemental water in my xeriscape garden even in their first year. They're doing great. thanks! #sweepstakes"

Small but cute and growing!

"I put this in a planter next to another planter with rosemary. The lavender is smaller than I was expecting, but it's very happy where it is an is already growing and has dozens of blooms! It arrived in perfect condition. The packaging for all of the plants was incredible. I love it!"

"I grew these in Utah around a weeping cherry tree and they were beautiful. Since moving to PA I had to get more. I love lavender! At the moment we are living temporarily on our son's property, so, all my plants are in containers. Like all plants ordered online, they were not very large, but they are growing and even beginning to flower. One plant had a lot of dead shoots and I thought it would not make it, but I cut that off to green and it is beginning to grow well now with more shoots coming from the base of the plant."

Healthy, strong lavender

"I received the lavender in excellent healthy condition. Planted immediately and all the plants grew into nice size plants. Looking forward to buying more from High Gardens!"

Excellence all around!

"I have been a fan of High Country Gardens for a couple of decades. This year I recently began ordering seed and plants again. I received my Hidcote lavender plant today, superbly packaged and in perfect fragrant condition. I'm adding it to my xeric garden where it's certain to thrive. I'm planting it with existing lavenders in front of my Texas red yuccas to ward off deer. It goes without saying the aroma is the cherry on top, my favorite! I know I can always count on HCG to deliver quality plants."

Lovely plant

"This plant bloomed beautifully the first year in my garden and kept blooming until a heavy frost. It was stunning in combination with alternanthera."

Grows hardy in mountain southwest

"I used this in my xeriscape landscape since 2011and it performs splendidly. It stands up to winds, cold, and the extreme weather at 7,000feet. I've had other lavenders not perform as well. I will be adding more in future. Note that the bees love it."
