Compact and SOOOO Fragrant

"I bought three Buena Vistas two years ago and all are doing great in my waterwise garden. I chose this compact variety because of the high winds in our area. . . . trying to minimize stem breakage that could occur with larger lavender. I am hoping that with the upcoming third season, I will get a strong second-bloom out of the plants. The bloom color is just like the HCG photo and the fragrance really encourages me to linger when I'm in that part of the garden!"

Wider than expected

"I bought 5 Buena Vista. 3 thrived. 1 plodded along. 1 had to be rehabbed. But 2 years later, all are good. They are very hardy to blazing sun and heat. With careful watering, they have survived 3 weeks of 101-108 degree heat in Texas. One thing - they are all way wider than 18"". Each branch is over 12"", and they have a sprawling growth pattern, so the width of my BV lavenders range from 24-36"". Overall I really like them."
