How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (801) 769-0300 or contact us by email or chat.

"Third time purchasing these plants. Have given away to friends who have admired them and both report their flower bushes are still thriving. Live in Atlanta and these take a beating in the summer/winter. I lightly trim mine after they die late fall but have found regrowth on new stems and old alike. I would say takes about 2 seasons to reach its full potential. Bees are CRAZY for them and they have a pleasant medicinal mint smell to them. Round out nicely about 2 feet all around so don't crowd them in. Nice mid-height plant in garden bed or container but they prefer ground IMO. In Atlanta they bloom May-October into November if still warmer."
"It really makes a difference that High Country Gardens starts their plants at higher altitudes and in alkaline soil. The survival rate of HCG plants is so much higher for Colorado/Front Range gardeners."
"Very healthy plants!"
"The Blue Hyssop did not come with my Pre-Planned Jumbo Waterwise Garden. I added some to fill in the gaps. This is the only plant to survive totally unscathed in the DFW North Texas heat wave of 2023. We have had 47 days of 100 + degree days so far. I love this plant! My garden was planted in June."
"This little treasure of a plant is loved by our apiary residents."
"Love this guy. One of the few plants I've ordered from HCG that is labeled as easy to grow and actually ""is easy to grow""."
"I bought two of these last Fall and frankly put them in a not too friendly spot with not much care. They have come back very healthy and I am looking forward to seeing the blooms. It is too early here in Colorado to see blooms yet, but looking forward to a colorful summer."
"I bought two of these last Fall and frankly put them in a really unforgiving spot. They have come back strong and look very healthy, it is too early for them to bloom, Spring Colorado snows but I am looking forward to what they will bring."
