Our Gaillardia Collection of 4 is a showcase of bestselling sun-loving Blanket Flowers, wonderfully colorful and long-blooming native wildflowers that are a perfect match for low-water landscapes. These drought-resistant perennials thrive in heat, glaring sun, and poorer soils, blooming prolifically to attract butterflies. Four deer and rabbit-resistant Gaillardia cultivars are easy to care for and well-suited to rock gardens.

I have just planted these but the ones I planted last year h

"Planting in open spaces between larger plants. To add color to my yard."

Favorite Desert flower

"I wanted to start a colorful garden in our yard in the desert of NM. I've had trouble growing flowers in the last year but the Blanket Flowers seem to do quite nicely. I ordered these a month or so and planted them. I'm still waiting for one to flower but the other 3 bloomed nicely. I run a soaker hose around in the flower bed and that seems to do the trick. I have attached pics."

Beautiful and fast growing. . . until the moles got them

"The moles ate the roots of all the red flowers - my favorite - leaving the yellow flowers less affected (so far). The larger of the four plants arrived limp, and none survived. The other three types did well - grew fast, filled in, looked very pretty"

Healthy and Ready to Bloom

"Plants arrived healthy and after planting less than two months ago they are already blooming!"

Arizona Red and Amber Wheels just don't stop blooming!

"Beautiful plants shipped. Arizona Red and Amber wheels started blooming almost immediately. I'm sure that I deadheaded well over 100 blooms on each plant over the summer. Just amazing production. This is Arizona Red well into September, still blooming strong."
