Naturalizing, long-lasting blooms

"Wallflower seeds spread in summer 2020 formed a wonderful carpet of orange in 2021 and again in 2022. The wildflowers naturalized, spreading along the sides of our mountain home (5000 ft elevation), despite marmots that eat almost everything, long dry summers (typically no rain July or August), and long snowy winters (typical last measurable snowfall mid-June and 1st snow early Oct). They were easy to grow, needing little care after sowing, and are one of the first flowers that begins to bloom (less than a month after the last snowfall of more than a few inches)."
