Description
60-96" tall. 'Tropicana' is a huge Canna lily that blooms in mid- to late summer with stunning red flowers edged with bright yellow. Canna lilies love hot weather and should be planted in full sun in a compost-enriched garden loam where the plant will receive regular moisture. Canna lilies are great pond-side plants that can tolerate moist ground too. Cold hardy in zones 7-10. In colder zones lift the bulbs in fall and store in a cool place over the winter. Hybridized from plants native to Central and South America. Good for Firescaping
