Description
44-48" tall. Tiger Lily 'Black Beauty' has stunning coloration with compact red flowers showing a chartreuse throat. A prolific bloomer with up to 40 flowers on the stems of mature plants. This heirloom was hybridized in the late 1950's and has been widely planted ever since. This is a very cold hardy variety wintering in zones 3-9. Plant in well drained, compost enriched garden soil in full to part sun. Hybridized from Asian native plants.
