Description

8-12" tall x 12-18" wide. Salvia nemorosa ‘Marcus’ PP# 13,322 (Dwarf Blue Sage). Small in stature, but big in color, 'Marcus' makes up for its lack of size by blooming nearly all summer with compact spikes of violet-purple flowers. A favorite nectar source for honeybees and butterflies, use it as a plant to edge paths, at the front of the perennial border, or in containers. You will find this plant extremely cold hardy, browse resistant and it’s happy in clay soils. (cutting propagated)
