Globe Ice Plant (Ruschia)

Globe Ice Plant (Ruschia punctulata) is a rugged, cold hardy Ice Plant that comes from the high, cold top of Hantamberg Mountain in South Africa's Western Cape. In its harsh native environment, the plants grow slowly to form hard, dense mounds of evergreen stems and foliage. With the warmth of spring, the plants come into flower covering themselves with bright pink blooms. Long-lived and wonderful; an endemic plant found only in one small, high elevation part of the world.
