Description

36" tall x 36" wide. (Division propagated). A stunning, cool season ornamental grass from the mountains of Morocco, Mt. Atlas Fescue grows as a large, mounding, green leaved plant. In cold climates, it will be your first big ornamental grass to bloom, pushing up a profusion of graceful slender flower spikes in late spring. A durable, long-lived species that is fully evergreen in mild winter climates. Our plants are propagated from divisions of a single original plant to minimize reseeding in mild climates like CA and OR. Most soil types including clay. Plant with tall Sedums and Russian Sage.
