Description

2007 Perennial Plant of the Year 18-24" tall x 18" wide. Nepeta x 'Walker's Low' (Catmint) (named after a place in England, not its growth habit) is a stunning non-reseeding Catmint selection with attractive, crinkled blue-green foliage and a profusion of deep lavender-blue flowers. Cut back just above ground-level in mid-spring after the first flush of blooms. Shear off faded flowers in June to re-bloom. Nepeta 'Walker's Low' thrives in harsh conditions. A rugged, easy-to-grow addition to any xeriscape, Walker's Low Catmint makes a fine companion plant to silver-leaved Artemisia or Blue Avena Grass (Helictotrichon). (Cutting propagated)
