Martagon Lily ‘Russian Morning’ has stunning deep rose-purple colored flowers, hanging from stalks with up to 50 blooms each. Producing bold color in early summer, ‘Russian Morning’ prefers full sun with "feet" in the shade. Winter hardy in zones 3-9, this ‘wild’ lily is fragrant, and makes a stunning cut flower. It can be grown in containers or in the ground. Plant it in compost enriched soils with full to part sun. Very attractive to butterflies.
