Linum narbonense (Spanish Flax) is a gorgeous Old World species with large clear blue flowers streaked with dark blue, held high on stiff stems. This species is an excellent choice for harsh sites and poor soils. Drought resistant/drought tolerant plant (xeric).

Native to the foothills and mountains of northern Spain, this wildflower gem is most at home along paths, among rocks and other areas with poor soil. Encourage the plant to re-seed itself and it will gently spread itself into your landscape. Linum narbonense is reported to be a longer-lived perennial than common Linum perenne. 15-18" x 15-18" wide.
