Overview
Black Pearl Asiatic Lily (Lilium Asiatic ‘Black Pearl’) is one of the darkest lilies in the world. In mid-summer the large trumpet-shaped blooms open in rich shades of black-red, with a glimmering sheen on each petal. Stunning and fragrant, with 10-15 flowers per bulb. It’s also beautiful in containers and as cut flowers.

Lilium Asiatic ‘Black Pearl’ opens its blooms to reveal dark pearly black-red petals surrounding bright orange anthers. It’s breathtaking! Combine them with bright flowers where it will contrast beautifully – consider Monarda, Echinacea, and ornamental grasses. Or create a dramatic focal point for this beauty – it won’t disappoint. Let it grow up among other perennials or shrubs so its root area is shady and moist and where its blooms can have 6-8 hours of sun per day. Elegant cut flowers, deer, and rabbits stay away. In containers, use a pot with a depth of 12-18" and place one large bulb, or 3-4 smaller bulbs per 8-9" diameter container. 28-30" tall x 8" wide.
